Coming out on Senior day with "Burreaux" written on the back of his jersey for pregame warmups, LSU quarterback Joe Burrow blew a kiss to the adoring fans who stood on their feet to applaud the Heisman frontrunner.

Burrow had the pregame jersey idea himself, according to ESPN's Marty Smith, wanting to show his thanks to the fanbase who took him in at the beginning of last season after he transferred from Ohio State.

"I'm proud of the people of Louisiana for welcoming Joe," said LSU head coach Ed Orgeron. "Joe's brought so much to our program. We're very grateful for Joe Burrow."

It's easy to see why.

Burrow continued his magnificent play, going 23-32 for 352 yards and 3 touchdowns, helping LSU demolish Texas A&M by the score of 50-7.

He was emotional as he checked out early in the 4th quarter to a standing ovation, making room for backup Myles Brennan to get game reps.

In his final game at Tiger Stadium, Burrow became the all-time single-season SEC leader in passing yards with 4,366. He tied the passing touchdown record of 44, and currently has the completion percentage record of 78.3%, with 2 to 3 more games left on the season.

After an infamous 7OT loss at Texas A&M last season with several officiating gaffes, with a postgame scuffle between the nephew of Aggies coach Jimbo Fisher and LSU legendary alum and current player of director development Kevin Faulk, the Tigers eager for payback.

Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase continued his incredible sophomore season. The Biletnikoff Award finalist reeled in another 7 passes for 197 yards and 2 touchdowns tonight, giving him 63 catches, 1260 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns on the year, as he's averaging 20.0 yards per reception.

The Tigers defense, which has struggled at times this year, was sensational, keeping the Aggies at a season-low 7 points, and owned the first half, holding them to 1.5 yards per play and only 24 passing yards in the first two quarters.

"Our best game all year," noted Orgeron. "I'm so proud of our seniors. So proud of our coaching staff, but we're not done yet."

#1 in the human polls and #2 in the College Football Playoff Rankings, LSU will face off against #4 Georgia next Saturday in Atlanta in the SEC Championship game.
