Major Louisiana City Makes List of Best Places for Families to Live
(Lafayette, Louisiana) - This year's Fortune 50 Best Places to Live list features a major Louisiana city on its list. If you live in Louisiana, it's likely no surprise that one of our great cities made the list, but which one?
This is the third annual survey. The survey began, according to Fortune Well editor Jennifer Fields, as a way for multigenerational families to find cities and towns that fit their needs. When a middle-aged adult is still raising their children, but also taking care of their parents, it's almost a "sandwich generation" if you will.
She says what this ends up meaning is that families need to have the support and care they need for their aging loved ones, as well as a vibrant community that will appeal to the younger residents in the family.

She says,
In our research, the cities that rose to the top were those that had a range of resources and amenities that appealed to their oldest and youngest residents.
Lafayette, Louisiana center fits that living scenario. Lafayette offers a variety of activities for all ages along with top-notch healthcare facilities along with excellent schools.
