Man Gets Sent Home From Work For Wearing Shorts, Returns In A Dress

A heatwave recently hit the UK, so 20-year-old Joey Barge decided to wear shorts to work. He's employed at a call center in Buckinghamshire.

Shorts are a dress code violation at Joey's workplace, so he was sent home. The young man didn't care for that and decided to make a statement. Mashable reports he returned to work in attire that fits the company's dress code - for women.

That's right! He came back to work in a dress.

His employers suggested the dress was "too colorful" and asked Barge if he'd like to change into a more subtle one. They, however, didn't insist.

He remained at work.
