BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who robbed the Chase Bank branch in Towne Center.

Spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks tells The Advocate (http://bit.ly/SyDWbl) in a news release the man walked in the front door Thursday afternoon wearing dark jeans, a dark-colored jacket, sunglasses and a stocking cap, with no visible weapon and gave the teller a note demanding money.

Hicks say the bandit left out the front door with an undisclosed amount of money and walked toward the rear of the bank.
