Man Shot By Kenner Police Friday Dies

KENNER, La. (AP) — Authorities say a 24-year-old man shot by a Kenner police officer has died.

Police say the shooting happened Friday night after an officer responded to a stolen vehicle report.

Investigators say the officer discharged his weapon striking the driver, Don White, when the vehicle accelerated towards the officer.
