The price of crawfish may have gone down a bit over the last couple of weeks, but apparently it's still too much for one Zachary man to actually pay for it.

Police are searching for a man who allegedly broke into a local seafood market and stole a bunch of seafood.

Zachary Police say the man used a rock to break a window at Tucker's Seafood around 2:45 am on Saturday. They believe he left the store with a pile of crawfish, shrimp, and fish.

Evidence of the thievery was located behind a nearby dumpster.

Zachary Police Department is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at (225) 654-9393.
