Marksville Woman Killed In Avoyelles Parish Crash

MARKSVILLE, La. (AP) — State police say a Marksville woman was killed in a single vehicle crash on La. Highway 1.

Trooper Scott Moreau says an SVU driven by 32-year-old Loraine M. Paul ran off the highway north of Marksville Tuesday night and hit a pole.

Moreau says Paul was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected. She was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
