The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service initiated a recall for approximately 9,986,245 pounds of products produced by BrucePac, an Oklahoma-based company known for its pre-cooked meats, including chicken, beef, turkey, and pork.
BrucePac products are also distributed under other brand names, such as Urban Bruce, City Grillers, and several private labels. The products included in the recall were manufactured between June 19th and October 8th 2024. There is a strong chance that many of these products are still on store shelves or in consumer's homes.
Texas consumers are advised to check for establishment numbers "51205" or "P-51205" located inside or under the USDA mark of inspection. All affected items should be thrown away immediately.
