Millennials Vs. Boomers: First Blood
The segment started innocently enough with Erin saying "Greg might die..." so, we knew we were in for a treat. You see, Greg and I are Millennials. Him born in '86 and me in '87. During one of the breaks Greg Atoms was reading one of the horrible things in the news and jokingly said "We're living on a terrible timeline". Erin then chimed in with "You Millennials have had a great go of it!"
I'm not going to chime in and deny that Baby-Boomers didn't have difficulties, But my generation hasn't exactly had it easy by any means. Erin decided to search Google for good things that happened during our generation to prove us wrong. It didn't work.
The list she found were all the crazy things that have happened from when we were in elementary school until a couple of years ago. The list was scary, and it didn't even include the Hurricane Katrina disaster or the more recent COVID-19 crisis. After a bit of talking about all the amazing things that took place during Erin's life coming up in her generation, Greg and I laced in with how hectic our lives have been for the last 20-some-odd years.
Check the video above for the full discussion, and have a look at the list of all the stuff that has happened since Greg and I have been alive:
