Mississippi Woman Killed In Louisiana Crash

CLINTON, La. (AP) — State police say a Mississippi woman was killed in an accident in Louisiana's East Feliciana Parish.

The accident happened around 11 a.m. Wednesday. State police say 18-year-old Riquita Jackson of Centreville, Miss., was driving south on Louisiana Highway 19. Her car left the road, ran into a ditch, struck a culvert, then a tree.

Jackson was fatally injured.

An investigation is under way.
