MLB All-Star Starters Announced, Three Astros Named
The Houston Astros are well represented in this years 2019 MLB All-Star Game starting lineup with three players in the mix. Starting third base is Alex Bregman and in the outfield, Michael Brantley and George Springer make up two-thirds of it.
Here's how the starters shook out:

2B | DJ LeMahieu | Yankees |
SS | Jorge Polanco | Twins |
3B | Alex Bregman | Astros |
OF | Mike Trout | Angels |
OF | George Springer | Astros |
OF | Michael Brantley | Astros |
DH | Hunter Pence | Rangers |
National League:
C | Willson Contreras | Cubs |
1B | Freddie Freeman | Braves |
2B | Ketel Marte | Diamondbacks |
SS | Javier Baez | Cubs |
3B | Nolan Arenado | Rockies |
OF | Christian Yelich | Brewers |
OF | Ronald Acuna Jr. | Braves |
OF | Cody Bellinger | Dodgers |
First and foremost congratulations to the Astros and everyone who made the teams but there are a couple of head-scratchers and starters that I don't believe to be starting.
Astro fans don't @ me on this one but Geroge Springer doesn't deserve to be starting, if you want to have him as a reserve after missing 30 games this season I'm cool with it. I would have rather seen a guy like Domingo Santana of the Seattle Mariners starting in the outfield, a guy who is having one of the best first halves of his career.
Also in the American League, I had a problem with Jorge Polanco winning the starting shortstop position. Polanco is having a nice year but the Red Sox Xander Bogarts is having a much better season and thought he was more deserving.
As far as the National League go the only place I saw they got it wrong was at first base with Freddie Freeman getting the nod to start. Don't get me wrong he's having a really good year but Josh Bell of the Pittsburgh Pirates is having a better season than Freeman.
