Last week, DOTD workers moved into St. Landry Parish to perform routine bridge inspections. This week, that work continues on other bridges throughout the parish.

The following closures will happen on Monday, February 12, weather permitting:

  • LA 103 (St. Landry Veterans Memorial Highway) will have alternating lane closures between Rayne Road and John Addie Road from 8 AM until 10:30 AM.
  • LA 10 (Railroad Avenue) will have alternating lane closures between LA 360 and Brewer Road from 10 AM until 1:30 PM.
  • US 71 will have alternating lane closures between Chance Road and Campground Road from 1 PM until 4:30 PM.

The following closures are scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, weather permitting:

  • The inside lane and shoulder of I-49 northbound at Exit 25-LA 103 (Washington/Port Barre) will be closed from 8 AM until 9:30 AM.
  • US 190 Eastbound (Ronald Reagan Highway) will have a left lane closure between Cypress View Lane and US 71 from 8 AM until 10:30 AM.
  • The inside lane and shoulder of I-49 northbound between Exit 27-LA 10 (Lebeau) and Grand Prairie Rest Area from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM.
  • The inside lane and shoulder of I-49 southbound at Exit 25-LA 103 (Washington/Port Barre) from 2 PM until 4:30 PM.

The following closures are scheduled for Thursday, February 15, weather permitting:

  • US 190 Eastbound (Ronald Reagan Highway) will have a left lane closure between LA 3174 and US 71 from 10 AM until 2:30 PM.

 

The following closures are scheduled for Friday, February 16, weather permitting:

  • The inside lane and shoulder of US 190 westbound (Ronald Reagan Highway) between US 71 and LA 3174 from 8 AM until 12:30 PM.
  • The inside lane and shoulder of US 190 westbound (Ronald Reagan Highway) between US 71 and Cypress View Lane from 1 PM until 4 PM.

 

 

In all cases, 2-way traffic will be maintained utilizing a flagging operation.
