More Hurricanes Could Occur This Season
As of today, there is only one hurricane officials are tracking, Maria, and it isn't going to be a threat to this country.
But the season is far from over and weather conditions seem to favor more storms coming into existence. State Climatologist Barry Keim says we've already had 14 named storms which means there are only seven storm names left in the 2011 hurricane name rotation. Hurricane season runs through the end of next month.
