More Kickoff Times Set For Ragin' Cajun Football 2019 Season

More kickoff times have been set for the upcoming season of Ragin' Cajun football, including a changed start time to the home opener.

The Sun Belt and ESPN announced the start times for all games set to air on an ESPN platform involving a team within the conference.

Louisiana had a 4:00pm kickoff time listed on their website for the season/home opener at the Merecedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans against Mississippi State on Saturday, August 31st.

That kickoff time is now set for 11:00am, and will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU.

The matchup versus Mississippi State is one of four nationally broadcasted games involving Louisiana this season, with a potential for more if the team can play in the Sun Belt Conference championship game and a Bowl game.

Other official kickoff times for Louisiana include the week 2 matchup at Cajun Field against Liberty (Saturday, Sept. 7) and week 3 matchup versus Texas Southern (Saturday, Sept. 14), as both will begin at 6:30, and air on ESPN+ and ESPN3.

Louisiana's home game against Appalachian State, a rematch of last year's conference championship, will kickoff at 6:30 on ESPN2 on Wednesday, October 9th.

Eight days later, Louisiana travels to Arkansas State for a Thursday matchup that will also kickoff at 6:30 on ESPN2.

Thursday, November 7th, the Ragin' Cajuns travel to Conway for a matchup with Coastal Carolina. Kickoff is set for 6:30 CT, and will air on ESPNU.

The rest of Louisiana's kickoff times are TBA.

All radio broadcasts begins with pregame airing 2 hours prior to kickoff on ESPN1420.
