Former Pharmaceutical Salesman Arrested in Moss Bluff After Theft Of Pills

On March 4th The Drug Store in Moss Bluff was robbed of about 9,000 pills. Someone broke the dead bolt of the front door, got in and stole the drugs, and left in less than one minute.

Police say that Patrick Murphy is the man behind the robbery and he was arrested today. The drugs Murphy allegedly took are valued around $4,500.

Murphy used to be a salesman for the store.

He was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Facility on $500,000 bond.
