My favorite dish at Bella Fresca is the Veal Scaloppini. The fried Calamari is also a top selection for local diners. Their cheese selection is always one of the best in town. No doubt, one of the best fine dining Italian restaurants in the region. They will have an appetizer special and a couple of dinner specials. But you might want to order off the menu. My absolute favorite dish is the Polpette Alla Romana. It's braised meat balls baked in a mushroom, tomato, red wine demiglase sauce and served on a bed of Garlic olive oil spicy pasta. Ernest's Orleans is one of the most famous restaurants in the entire region. It's easy to find on Spring Street near I-20. The Ernest's crab claws are perhaps the most famous appetizer in the area. But you will find some spectacular items on the main menu to insure you have a romantic night. You can't go wrong with the Red Snapper, but you will also have some other great options like the prime steaks, fresh seafood, and Italian specialties. Only have some late seating options left for Valentine's Day.

2 Johns will be serving a 4 course menu for Valentine's Day. You can't go wrong with this very romantic restaurant located on Airline Drive in Bossier City. If you want to try something from the regular menu, check out the sea bass dish which is one of the best in the area. You will also love the Oscar style filet. It's a filet mignon that is so tender. If you wait much longer, you won't be able to get a reservation on Valentine's Day.

The swordfish is spectacular! One of my favorite dishes is the Pistachio Crusted Salmon. If you love fine dining with tons of ambiance, this is the place. This is one of the finest restaurants in Shreveport. It's at 6535 Line Avenue. It's quite romantic and mellow.The Scaloppini Alle Noc is a signature dish. It's Veal Scaloppini with blackberries and shrimp.  You can't go wrong with the Fettucine with olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, and basil. They do tell me they will have a Valentine's Day special, but you need to get reservations now for Valentine's Day!

At Jimmy's you will find a great selection of seafood, but you can also get a spectacular steak. If you are adventurous, check out the quail legs or the squash bisque. A couple of the other favorites are the grilled shrimp served on garlic grits. You will also find some of the best crab cakes in the area.

The snapper Orleans is quite a specialty.  It has a lump crab meat cream sauce on top of the delicate fish. 1800 Prime is inside Boomtown Casino. Of course this is one of the best places to go for a great steak. But you will be surprised how good the gumbo is here and the flounder is amazing if you want something a little lighter than a juicy steak.

Windrush Grill is a more casual spot in far south Shreveport but this place still has really great food with the freshest of ingredients. It's an intimate neighborhood restaurant.

Zuzul will not be open on Valentine's Day but they are hosting a couple of Valentine's Day events on Friday and Saturday, February 12 and 13. They will have live music and specials both of those evenings.

One thing you might want to try is the whole grilled Bronzini which is also known as Mediterranean sea bass. This is quite a specialty.
