National Guard Trying To Put Out Fires

The National Guard has already dropped more than 260,000 gallons of water on the fire and they expect to drop more than 500,000 gallons of water by the end of today. The fires are not out yet, but the coming storms are hoping to help. Governor Bobby Jindal says people sensitive to smoke inhalation should avoid going outside, and if you must go outside to be safe.
