New Orleans Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Wounded

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — An early morning shooting in eastern New Orleans left an 18-year-old woman dead and a 19-year-old seriously wounded.

Officer Garry Flot says both victims were found inside a home about 1:30 a.m. Monday.

Authorities have did not release the names of the victims.

Flot said the woman died at the scene and paramedics transported the man to the hospital.

Investigators say they have no motive for the killing and no suspects.
