New Orleans will get its opportunity to host a Super Bowl in two years and the planning for that huge event is well underway. The New Orleans Super Bowl host committee was in Dallas last week to meet with NFL officials and potential sponsors. Jay Cicero is the executive director of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation. Super Bowl 45 in Dallas will be remembered for its cold weather and snow storms that paralyzed the city leading up to the big game. Cicero says the New Orleans Host committee learned some valuable lessons as they watched Dallas officials handle the situation. New Orleans is set to host the Super Bowl on February 3, 2013. But there's talk of an 18-game regular season schedule which could push the Super Bowl back to later in February. Cicero says the game can't be played the next weekend, because that's Mardi Gras weekend.
