Nicholls State Vigil Focuses On Domestic Violence

THIBODAUX, La. (AP) — A rally and candlelight vigil against domestic violence are planned Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. at Nicholls State University.

Sponsored by the Nicholls Women's Resource and Services Office, activities will begin on the front steps of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union. Participants will march around the university quadrangle and end with a candlelight vigil at the eternal flame.

The event is being held in association with Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
