NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans police are investigating three separate shooting incidents late Thursday that left three people dead and two others injured.

Police say officers responded to a call of a shooting at home where three victims were found. All had been shot. No names have been released.

Police say in a statement that an unidentified male was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical technicians. A 27-year-old male and a 28-year-old female were transported to a local hospital.

In a second shooting, police found a 50-year-old male inside a vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Emergency medical technicians pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Police responded to a third call of a shooting and found a 27-year-old man inside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency medical technicians pronounced him dead on the scene.
