WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama plans today to visit a town near Seattle where a mudslide last month killed at least 41 people.

Dozens of homes were buried in Oso.

Then Obama heads to Asia for a four-country trip that begins Wednesday in Tokyo.

He's expected to spend the rest of the week and part of next week conferring with leaders in Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines.
