One Dead Others Injured
(New Orleans, LA) -- Four shootings in New Orleans that occurred over a six-hour stretch beginning at 1 a.m. today have left one man dead and several others injured. The first shooting happened in the city's French Quarter where a 20-year-old man was shot once in the head. The unidentified victim was hospitalized in critical condition. It was just before 7 a.m. that an unidentified man was shot to death not far from the intersection of Burgundy and St. Louis streets. Five suspects were taken into custody for questioning.
