Vote To Override Cigarette Tax Veto Fails In House

Governor Jindal's veto of a bill which would have repealed a cigarette tax has been upheld by the Louisiana House. The vote to override the veto fell short of the 70 votes needed. Jindal had appealed to House Republicans to uphold the veto.
