Crowley Woman Dies Dies In Acadia Parish Pedestrian/Car Crash

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office says a man on his usual route to work this morning hit a woman who was walking on the service road parallel to the eastbound lane of Interstate 10.

This accident happened on Jasmine Road about a half a mile east of the Petro Truck Stop around 5;30 this morning.

The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Naomi Gine Chaillot of Crowley.
