Police Allege Turkey Creek Man Abducted Daughter

The charges against Corey Gautreaux include simple kidnapping, simple battery and unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling.

Police allege that Gautreaux kidnapped his daughter when he went to a home in Bunkie at the end of last week.  Avoyelles Parish deputies say they were able to arrest Gautreaux without incident on Saturday.  Police say that Gautreaux forced his way into the home.  They further accuse the man of hitting his dauther Riley's grandmother.

Police says they were able to local the little girl with Gautreaux on Saturday at a home in Turkey Creek.
