Police In St. Landry Parish Search For Car Break-in Suspects

Police in St. Landry Parish are asking for the public's assistance in solving a case in which someone tried to steal three cars from a car dealership.

Opelousas Police responded to a call at Sterling-Buick-GMC on March 28. There, they found that someone had broken into the three cars, damaging the door locks. Once inside, the suspects also damaged the ignition switches in an apparent attempt to steal the cars.

Police say the break-ins caused several hundred dollars in damages.
