Pope Francis to Release Album

After his wildly successful tour of America last week, the next stop for Pope Francis will be the recording  studio. The Pope will release his album 'Wake Up!' on November 27. According to the New York Times 'The album features the pope’s speeches set to rock, pop, and Gregorian chants, and will raise money for a support fund for refugees.'

Believe Digital, a European label, will release the 11 track record in Italian, Spanish, English and Portuguese The first track released will be 'Wake Up! Go! Go! Forward! Pope John Paul II. and Pope Benedict XVI also released albums in the past, so Pope Francis is not the first rock star to come out of the Vatican!
