President Trump Announces Government Is Temporarily Reopened
At the Rose Garden in Washington, D.C., President Donald Trump has announced a short-term deal lasting until February 15 that will temporarily reopen the government.
This comes amid significant delays happening at airports in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia today because of a shortage of employees.
Around 800,000 federal workers are missing another payday today, this being the 35th day of the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. President Trump is signing the deal today that will get back-pay to federal employees as soon as possible.
