Rob and Bernie Hit The Road For Downtown Lafayette Show

Rob and Bernie's Big Downtown Breakfast will mark what is essentially a re-opening of Downtown Lafayette. KPEL's morning show "Acadiana's Morning News" will broadcast from Handy Stop Market and Cafe on Friday. The live broadcast will happen from 6-9 am and will feature a number of guests.

This weekend, several events are planned to invite people back to Downtown. Acadiana Center for the Arts will play a central role in a kick-started ArtWalk. Also happening in Downtown Lafayette is the Chicken Sandwich Snackdown at several participating Downtown restaurants. Handy Stop will also hold their ribbon-cutting and grand opening on Saturday.
