The New Orleans Saints have a new face in their offensive backfield.

The team signed running back Robert Kelley on Tuesday.

To make room for Kelley, the Saints placed running back Buck Allen on injured reserve.

A native of New Orleans, Kelley attended O.Perry Walker High School, before playing his college football at Tulane.

The 26-year old Kelley spent three seasons with the Washington Redskins (2016-2018), rushing for 906 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Kelley's best season in Washington was 2016 when he rushed for 704 yards and six scores.

The 27-year old Allen, who signed with the Saints back in May, spent the last four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
