A number of communities are still recovering from last weekend's flood and now some school districts are closing schools for Tuesday, August 16 and beyond.

Lafayette Parish:

• Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy
• St. Thomas More High School (Return Aug. 22)
• All Lafayette Parish Public Schools Closed (Return Aug. 22)
• Cathedral Carmel (Return Aug. 22)
• Teurlings Catholic High (Return Aug. 22)
• Our Lady of Fatima School (Return Aug 22)
• Holy Family Catholic School (Return Aug 22)
• Gethsemane Catholic School

Acadia Parish:

• All Public and Private Schools closed all week (Return Aug. 22)

Iberia Parish:

• All Schools Closed Monday/Tuesday (Return Wed, Aug 17)

St. Landry Parish:

• All Public Schools Closed Wednesday

St. Martin Parish:

• St. Bernard Catholic School
• All Public Schools (Closed remainder of the week)

Vermilion Parish

• All Public and Private Schools closed (Return Monday, Aug 22nd)
