Over the years there has been much talk about the NFL needing to amend the already revised overtime rule. It used to be automatic sudden death where the first team who scored any points won the game. As you know they've amended it to where if the first team kicks a field goal the other team has a chance to possess the football.

After the AFC Championship Game, last season between the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs the cries for a change have gotten louder. Here is an easy fix that Scott Van Pelt proposes on ESPN and I think it could work:
