CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — The Australia agency coordinating the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 says the southern Indian Ocean search by the U.S. Navy's robotic submarine is over.

The Bluefin21 has searched some 330 square miles in an area where acoustic signals were detected and it's found no trace of the plane.

The agency says, "The area can now be discounted as the final resting place."
