The largest locally produced tabloid magazine in the Shreveport and Bossier City areas has been sold.

A release from the new ownership, Settle Talk, says that as of midnight last night, the ownership of the publication The Inquisitor has changed hands. Previously The Inquisitor had been owned by local businessman Danny Lawler, through is company Danny Lawler Enterprises.

The new ownership, Settle Talk, is owned by John Settle, Jr. and according to the release about the ownership change, the fromat of the publication will remain the same. Here's more from the release:

"The staff of the paper are now employees of Settle Talk.

Starting next Friday (Oct. 18) there will be much more coverage of Caddo/Shreveport politics. And hopefully a freelance reporter will help with coverage of Bossier politics.

More columns of local interest will be added for local sports, hunting/fishing, local organizations, and the like. Breaking new stories will also be a high priority. Reader input as to additional columns, freelance writers and columnists, and advertisers is welcomed."
