Shreveport Wants Your Opinion on Spending Federal Money

It's time to voice your opinion about how you think Shreveport should spend federal dollars that will be flowing to our area from the feds.

Mayor Adrian Perkins and other community leaders are hosting meetings across the city to hear from you. Shreveport is expecting more than $48 million dollars from the American Rescue Act,

Perkins says the focus of these meetings will be four key areas that our community must address as soon as possible: public safety, infrastructure, economic development and technology.

If you can not make it to one of the meetings, you can click here to fill out a survey to outline your priorities. You will be asked to rank the needs from 1-4.

The first meeting is set for tomorrow night.

All of the meetings begin at 6pm except the Broadmoor Presbyterian location which begins at 6:30 p.m.
