Small Business Development Help

The Small Business Development Center at UL Lafayette is holding a series of seminars during the month of August aimed at helping small business owners or anyone wanted to start up a company, advice on insurance, taxes and how to get started.

Erica Fontenot with the SBD tells Bernadette Lee and Ken Romero, hosts of "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" that there is a variety of free help available at the center.  She adds there are several upcoming seminars that are either free or for ten dollars to help out small business owners.  You can find out more at http://www.acadianasmallbiz.com

Fontenot says many people looking to start a business, and many who have already taken the plunge are not aware of the free help they can receive from the Small Business Development Center.  She adds many of their upcoming events are scheduled around a Acadiana to give those business owners an opportunity to get information without having to travel outside of their communities.
