Small Business Owners Slightly Optimistic About 2011

Small business owners are slightly more optimistic that 2011 will be a better year than 2010. That's according to Renee Baker, state director of the National Federation of Independent Businesses. Baker says a new Congress has small business owners encouraged. Baker predicts most small business owners are in a position where they can invest more capital into their business. But Baker says 56% of their members are still reporting weak sales, which is why small business owners are not predicting a great 2011.
