Sports Illustrated Features Former Cajun

The latest edition of Sports Illustrated is their annual "Where are they Now?" edition and a former Cajun softball player is featured.

Ashley Brignac Domec was the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2006-07 while at John Curtis Christian High School.  She went on to be a three time Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year and a two time Capital One Academic Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012.

As a freshman, she led the Cajuns to the Women's College World Series and pitched the Cajuns to a win over top seeded Florida.

She is now Dr. Domec and a successful chiropractor in her home town of River Ridge.
