CHALMETTE, La. (AP) — St. Bernard Parish is installing signs asking residents and visitors to "Don't Be A Litterbug" and "Don't Trash Our Parish."

The signs will be at public parks, alongside high-traffic thoroughfares and at area businesses participating in the parish's anti-litter initiative.

They were paid for using a grant received from the Keep Louisiana Beautiful program, parish officials say.
