St. Landry Woman Survives Home Break-In
A woman held up at gunpoint in her home needs your help. St. Landry Parish authorities say it happened Saturday in the Sunset area.
Police say a black male broke into the woman's house holding a black handgun. He looked through her bedroom for money, but couldn't find any. So, police say he tied her wrists together with zip ties and threatened to kill her if she called the police.
Someone called police while the suspect was still inside, but he was gone by the time they got there. The victim says he was wearing dark clothing and a dark mask.
