St. Martin Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest

A Mississippi man is in jail on drug charges following a traffic stop. Deputies in St. Martin Parish say they pulled over Kasey Smith and his passenger Ivory Tims on I-10. A search of the car turned up nearly two pounds in marijuana and a handgun. Tims was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on charges of possession with intent to distribute. Smith was freed and given a citation.
