St. Mary Parish Officials Make A Second Arrest In Burglary Case

Last week a Calumet business was burglarized with two suspects shown on surveillance tape taking a piece of diving equipment and cash.

St. Mary Parish deputies say they have arrested 20-year-old Quincy Johnson in the case and for resisting arrest yesterday morning.

The detective says Johnson admitted to him that we was involved in the burglary.

While being taken to the sheriff’s office, the officer says Johnson tried to run away from deputies.

He was quickly apprehended.
