6 people appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies say they investigated 39 complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period.

Rondon Charles Caesar , 40, 448 Branch Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on October 17, 2016 at 4:00 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of heroin with intent to distribute
- Possession of MDMA with intent to distribute
- Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
- Possession of Suboxone with intent to distribute
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)
- Resisting a police officer with force or violence
- Disarming of a peace officer
- Criminal damage to property
- Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses

Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section developed information that Caesar was in possession of illegal drugs in his vehicle at his residence on Branch Street in Baldwin. Detectives went to the residence and located Caesar in his car. Caesar saw detectives, got out of the car, and approached them. Caesar then attempted to push past a detective in an effort to get back to his vehicle. When detectives prevented him from returning to his car, Caesar fled on foot. A detective pursued the suspect. Nearing him, the detective drew a Taser and attempted to apprehend Caesar. A physical encounter ensued. Caesar disarmed the detective and broke the Taser. Caesar then fled on foot a second time, but was apprehended a short time later. Detectives observed small plastic bags containing a white powdery substance and marijuana inside the vehicle. After obtaining a search warrant for Caesar’s car, detectives located heroin, over 400 MDMA pills, methamphetamine, cocaine, Suboxone strips, a digital scale, and plastic baggies. The illegal drugs have an estimated street value of approximately $9,000. Caesar was also found to be in possession of $1,827 in cash. The money is suspected of being derived from the sale of illicit drugs and was seized pending forfeiture. Caesar’s residence is located near a church. Following the investigation, Caesar was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Gabe Bourgeious , 25, 324 Venus Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 17, 2016 at 6:07 pm for improper lane usage, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Narcotics detectives patrolling the Morgan City area observed a vehicle cross over the fog line several times on Highway 90 and conducted a traffic stop. Detectives made contact with Bourgeious. While speaking with detectives, Bourgeious admitted that he had marijuana in the vehicle. Detectives found the marijuana along with drug paraphernalia suspected of being used to smoke the illegal substance. Bourgeious was released on a summons to appear in court on January 4, 2016.

Kim Conner, 40, 108 Jolivette Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on October 17, 2016 at 10:23 am for resisting an officer and 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. Deputies went to Conner's residence to serve the arrest warrants. One of the deputies observed Conner fleeing the residence on foot. Deputies pursued Conner and apprehended him as he attempted to crawl beneath a nearby house. Conner was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bond is set at $34,793.86.

Demarcus Skipper, 21, 205 Neptune Road, Apt. 205, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 17, 2016 at 10:03 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of a Schedule I drug. A deputy responding to a separate complaint made contact with Skipper and located the active warrant for his arrest. Skipper was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

2 juvenile males, age 14, of Jeanerette, LA were arrested on October 17, 2016 at 4:49 pm and 5:34pm for criminal trespass and simple burglary. A deputy investigating a vehicle burglary that occurred over the weekend at the Fire Protection District #11 station on Sorrel Bridge Approach Road developed 2 juveniles as suspects in the crime. The deputy found evidence that the juveniles entered into the vehicle and stole several items. Both juveniles were released to guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.
