Taco Bell Prepared To Go Drive-Thru, Delivery-Only As Coronavirus Spreads
Taco Bell is making plans to alter its operations as COVID-19 continues to spread.
The chain says they will prepare all their stores with the necessary resources to operate as a drive-thru and delivery-only restaurant in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
Taco Bell has already taken proactive steps to step up their cleaning procedures and all managers have been trained and prepared to handle any possible changes in operations if their dining rooms do close.
The incredibly popular fast-food restaurant guarantees that no one showing any signs of sickness will work and will still compensate employees who are forced to stay at home or work from a restaurant that is closed, according to Taco Bell CEO Mark King.
We are going to redefine what it means to be a social brand during this coronavirus pandemic, while at the same time keeping our team members safe, and continuing to provide our fans with the delicious Taco Bell food they love. Personal well-being, safe food preparation, restaurant cleanliness and illness policies are our top priorities and are best practices from our operators from around the globe.
Who knows what may come of this COVID-19 prep, we may actually see Taco Bell offer delivery full time. Silver lining, right?
