Taco Sisters Consolidates, Closing Down Freetown Location
The popular Freetown location of Taco Sisters, owned by Suggs Enterprises LLC of Lafayette is closing. The midtown restaurant at 3902 Johnston St will remain open, and all employees will move to that site. Last day of operations at the 407 Johnston St. restaurant will be on November 27th.
The original location was opened 10 years ago, and the second restaurant opened in 2017. According to a statement to the Acadiana Advocate, One of the Taco Sisters partners, Jon Jenkins, said 'the move was due to feeling stretched thin between the two locations and needing to bring everything under one roof'. He also said a new location downtown is a possibility, but not anytime soon.
