A flyover near Downtown Baton Rouge had many looking up to the sky Tuesday, and even had some asking what may have been happening.

The iconic Thunderbirds will roar through the Louisiana sky this weekend as part of the Chennault International Air Show.

Having lived in Vermilion Parish, less than a mile from soybean and rice fields, I remember the distinct sound of that aircraft TOO early on Saturday mornings.
