At approximately 5:15 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023, the LPD was informed that a threat was sent to a local news channel via email, stating that there were bombs at each of the Target locations.
Authorities were told that the homeowner had received death threats and a video of something wrapped in a bandana that had been hidden under the homeowner's house.
A federal grand jury in Louisiana handed up an indictment last Thursday charging 27-year-old Paul Miller, of Lafayette, with making the bomb threat last September.
