The last customer was served at the Ambassador Caffery Parkway location on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Since then, there has been a story about Chick-fil-A in the news just about every day in anticipation of the new location on Kaliste Saloom in Lafayette.

There is a lot of excitement surrounding the new Chick-fil-A location on Kaliste Saloom.

Kevin Melancon is charming, sweet, kind, courteous and helpful, you simply can't think of Chick-fil-A in Lafayette without thinking of Kevin.

According to Chick-Fil-A's Facebook page, it seems as though the restaurant has closed its doors for good.

A building permit has been filed by a Dallas firm to construct a new Lafayette Chick-fil-A on Johnston Street.

Chick-fil-A customers have been shutting down one lane of Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette for years. The two, "No Parking On Pavement" signs near the entrance of the fast-food chicken chain appear to be merely roadside decorations to many of the restaurant's customers...

It's the first time the chain has closed locations for both Saturday and Sunday since 2010. The closure is planned for later this month.
