Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel announced today that he will NOT veto the ordinance disallowing any garbage transfer facilities in Lafayette Parish, whether currently proposed or in the future. The City-Parish Council voted unanimously at their Oct. 18 meeting to pass the ordinance.
